Welcome...

A Bathing Ape or Bape (ア・ベイシング・エイプ A Beishingu Eipu?) is a Japanese clothing company founded by Nigo (real name Tomoaki Nagao) in 1993. The company specializes in urban and hip-hop fashion, operating 33[citation needed] stores across Japan. The company also operates Bape Cuts hair salon, Bape Café and gallery, Bape Sounds records, a members-only store in Hong Kong, and boutiques in London, Taiwan and New York.

Created in 1993, A Bathing Ape (BAPE for short) is a street wear brand that originated in Japan. The label is well known for its colorful, vibrant clothing and limited edition production. Although most its boutiques are located in Japan, over the years it has expanded to other cities around the world including London, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and New York. One of their most popular items has been their hooded sweatshirts, or what most people like to call them "hoodies."

PICTURE COMPARISONS

Green Chomper Hoody

Key Differences
    - The red part in the middle is missing in the fake.
    - You can also see the counterfeit has a fake tag.
    - Although you can't see it, a lot of the times the neck tag on the fake is wrong one.
    - The color of the fake sweater itself looks slighly faded.

Purple Camo Hoody

Key Differences
    - The most obvious difference is the color of the color of the camo. The fake has a bluish color to it. Some other fakes lack a pinkish color the real one has.
    - For some fakes, the words BAPE might be crooked or not lined up straight across.
    - Although you can't see it, a lot of the times the neck tag on the fake is wrong one.
    - The inside lining of the fake sweater might be white instead of purple.

Blue Kaws Camo Hoody

Key Differences
    - The colors are off. The real one has a brighter look to it.
    - The camo print on the fake is odd even though its hard to notice.
    - The zipper is showing on the fake one. You can see a zipper line by the pockets which are not suppose to be visable. Real ones do not show the zipper when it is zipped up.
    - Notice the small patch of camo at the bottom of the fake. The camo print is not suppose to over lap into the waistband.

Multi Camo Hoody

Key Differences
    - The camo print on the fake has too much yellow.
    - The color of the camo on the fake is too bland and bold. The colors on the real one are lighter.
    - You can also see the counterfeit has a Baby Milo tag even though it is not a Baby Milo hoody.
    - Although you can't see it, a lot of the times the neck tag on the fake is wrong one.

3 Color Multi Camo Hoody

Key Differences
    - Too much pink in the fake one. The background of the camo should be white not pink.
    - The camo print on the fake is smaller compared to the real one.
    - It shouldn't say BAPE on this version of camo.
